72-hour rush orders are available for an additional 25% fee.
You send me a sample of your work, up to 4 pages or 1,000 words in Microsoft Word or Google Docs format. I send you back your sample, professionally edited to the best of my abilities, including all tracked changes and editorial comments.
If you are happy with the edit, you let me know you’d like to hire me, and we find a date on my calendar that works with your publishing timeline. I send you my service contract, you take your time in reviewing it and ask for any needed changes.
I will reach out two weeks before the date of edits and confirm timeline and details. If confirmed, I’ll provide you my onboarding materials, and we’ll discuss what to expect on the date of edits!
I will confirm your final word count for invoicing, if needed. I will take care of invoicing through PayPal, and you will receive a professional invoice through my business account.
When approaching deadline, I confirm return date with you. On the day of the deadline, I return your manuscript and deliverables to you, fully edited and with all tracked changes.
I am available after return in order to troubleshoot any immediate issues, making sure that you’re able to open and view all deliverables as needed.
I continue to be available to discuss any suggested edits during my office hours, and will respond to emails and other communications on an ongoing basis.
Once you have had a chance to review the manuscript, we can schedule a date for a final pass. For my copy/line editing package, I’m happy to provide limited support to copy edit any new content that may result from changes, and provide a quick final pass to sweep up any final errors that may pop up during your implementation of edits.
For my full developmental package, an additional full round of edits is included, including supplemental feedback on new changes. We work together with your manuscript until you feel confident that it’s in the best shape possible!
